COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
Ann's involvement highlights her dedication to both the spiritual life of the parish through her ministerial roles and the practical management and community building through her leadership positions and fundraising efforts.
TEAM UNION CITY FOOD DRIVE

On March 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic swept through the community, Ann partnered with local leaders to launch the Team Union City Food Drive, supporting families facing food insecurity. Since then, she has grown the program through strong partnerships with Rodney's Hope Inc, 5 Seva Sikh, Ohlone Humane Society, St. Vincent de Paul, the Alameda County Food Bank, FUN Sunset Rotary, Helping Hands, Knights of Columbus Council 8627, and James Logan students.
Today, Ann and Union City Mayor Singh serve as the primary organizers, coordinating the distribution of fresh produce, nonperishable goods, pet food, meat products, and hot meals to community members in need. Through her leadership, Team Union City continues to provide essential support and compassion to local families

Along with the pastor, she provides a church tour, discusses parish concerns, and makes the church parking lot available to support community and public safety needs.
CAREAVAN at ST ANNE

Ann was instrumental in getting St Anne Church to participate in the Union City CAREavan Program. Each Thursday night, the church opens its door to provide individuals living in their vehicles with a safe and welcoming place to stay.
In addition, Ann partnered with St Vincent de Paul at St Anne Conference to ensure food is available for CAREavan participants, and she personally coordinates monthly hot meals and clothing distribution. Through her leadership, St Anne Church continues to be a compassionate refuge for those in needs.
